How to count numbers 11 to 19 in Vietnamese

In the last lesson, we covered numbers 0 to 10. Now let's move on to 11 through 19.

Numbers 11 to 19

To count from 11 to 19, you just need to add mười in front of each digit number.

11 = 10 + 1 = mười + một = mười một

Counting Rules

Double digit numbers ending with 5 (15, 25, 35 etc) will use lăm instead of năm.
